How to get the most out of this website
The Blog
Members no longer have their own personal Blogs on this website.
Instead there's just one Blog for the whole site that all members can add entries to and everyone can add comments and replies.
- On the User Menu click New Blog entry
- Give your new blog entry a title
- Write your entry in the body field
- You may add up to 6 photos per new blog entry
- Click Save
You can add further blog entries anytime you like.
Comments and Replies
- All members can post comments to all blog entries, gallery images and forum topics
- All members can also reply to comments
- Replies will appear below the comments to which they refer
NOTE: Comments and replies will be posted on this site. They are NOT emailed to individual members.
Viewing and saving photos
- To enlarge images: Click on the photo, and then click it again to enlarge it still further
- To save it to your computer: do a right click on the image and choose "Save image as..." (exact wording depends which browser you are using)
Finding other members
- All members are listed in the Members list pages
- You can also search for members by name using Search for Users
- Click on their name in the list and you will be taken to their User page
- If you click the Activity tab on their User page it will give a list of links to their blog entries and comments etc
Contacting other members
All members can contact all other members individually via this website:
- Go to the individual members page by clicking on any link containing their name
- Click on the Contact tab - a personal contact form will appear
- Your message will be sent as an email to the member
- They will be able to reply to you by normal email using your email address
- Personal contact messages cannot be viewed on this website, so please tick Send yourself a copy
Forums
- General discussion topics created by members
- You can add comments to existing topics
- You can also create your own topics for all members to discuss
- Click the Forums tab
