Me looking very happy to be in such close proximity with a monkey. How this picture came about I have no idea. Maybe a circus visited Queen Mary's, and small animals were brought on the ward for the children to meet. Was it Billy Smarts or Bertrums? Anyway, judging by the joy in my face, I think I would have liked to have the monkey to have remained my bedside companion.
