I work for the Variety Club Children's Charity.

In 2009 we are celebrating our 60th Birthday and as such are looking to get
back in contact with some of the causes and individuals who we have
provided help to over the years.

As I understand it Queen Mary's was actually the recipient of the first
Sunshine Coach to ever be donated. We have some great photos in our
archive and were wondering if you or any of colleagues had any
recollection of the day itself?

Apparently the VC did quite a lot of other work with the hospital over the
years and we'd also love to speak to anyone who could provide any insight
into that?

Unfortunately our records of the early years of VC are not
nearly what they should be and so speaking to those that were present is
the best way to dig up the wonderful stories which underpin our history.
