100th anniversary tea.

What a wonderful afternoon we had on 29th Jan. to celebrate QM's 100th anniversary. Sue Collis and her team organised it so well and at such short notice too. The 29th was the actual day that QM opened its doors in 1909. There were so many 'old faces' and as you can imagine lots and lots of chat!. A summer fete is going to be organised at the Sutton Arena(opp. St Helier) on 22nd August and there will be an Exhibition of '100 years of Q.M.' in Honeywood Lodge by the ponds in Carshalton to coinside with the fete. Any old photos' will be welcome. So please come and let any of your QM. friends and collegues know! There will also be a Centenary Ball in October and a Christmas Concert in December. Queen Marys Centerary Fete- 22nd August 09. Sutton Arena

Just wondred if any of you have any 'memorabelia' of QMHC or any pictures of your time there. We would really love to have anything for the exhibition. Please send anything to me at 14,Beeches Walk, Carshalton Beeches, SM5 4JT. if you do not want to part with your photos, a scan or copy will be fine. Please write on the back the date and names. Thanks very much, we want to make the fete and exhibition something to remember.

Also if anyone has any time to help on the day I know Sue Collis would be eternally grateful to you!!!
