Nursing Alumnae of Queen Mary's Hospital for Children

Have been using the site for a while now and other people have got in contact. Where are the students who trained from Sept. 1965 to 1968?
Wonderful to look at the photos and try to remember faces.

Hi,
I trained at Queen Marys from Oct. 65 to Oct. 68.

It was the first time I had been away from home and for my interview I ended up at Carshalton station.

Luckily a friendly taxi driver drove me to the hospital and I always carefully checked my train from London in the future.

I made some lovely friends and really enjoyed nursing the sick children. I enjoyed most of the wards, depending on the Sister!!!

The hours were long but the milk kitchen had more regular hours. When I qualified I worked on Ward A1. until I left at the end of 1971.
