Nursing Alumnae of Queen Mary's Hospital for Children

The Rolling Stones visited us in the winter of 1963. Can't remember my ward,  but Sister Mackie was in control; Mr Metcalf was my surgeon.

Anyone remember The Stones coming?

John Greenwood: may I ask, why a 3 year stay?
I had 2 separete sojourns each almost a year in the '50s. Cannot remember the ward numbers though.

I was a patient in 1954, then 1962 and 1966, and various other times. Polio.
Mr Metcalf was my consultant. Sister Mackie (MacKay?) our ward sister on some  wards.
I am interested in finding more history etc.
